 When your phone shows a message, "Battery Error. Please Contact Customer Support", this could be from a hardware component issue. You can troubleshoot like cleaning the charging port, using a different charging cable or wall socket, doing component checks, and others! Read on for more fixes you can do!

      




A hardware component issue might be the one causing your OPPO phone's battery to error. Make sure you double-check the following and try the given troubleshooting options:


Clean the charging port of the phone to remove any dirt or debris stuck in the port.


Charge the phone using the original charging cable from a wall charger.


Use a different charging cable and adapter.





Restart your OPPO smartphone by holding down the Power button for a couple of seconds, then swipe to the [Restart] icon.


Reset the phone system settings (this option is available with devices ColorOS 3.2 and above)


Go to [Settings] > [Additional Settings] > [Backup and Reset] > [Reset to Factory Settings] > [Reset System Settings Only].
